Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

The short version: your journal, prayers, decisions, and alignment history live on your device — not our servers. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We collect your name and email to run your account. That's it.

This Privacy Policy describes how LiquidVault Inc. ("LiquidVault," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and handles your information when you use the LiquidVault platform at liquidvault.co.

1. What We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your first name and email address. Your password is hashed on your device before storage — we never receive or store your plain-text password.

Vault content: Your journal entries, prayers, decisions, gratitude logs, alignment history, and other personal content are stored locally on your device using browser localStorage. This data does not leave your device unless you explicitly use the Export Vault feature.

Usage data: We may collect basic, anonymized usage data (such as subscription status and feature usage) to improve the platform. This data is not linked to your personal vault content.

2. What We Do Not Collect

3. How We Use Your Information

Your name and email are used to:

4. AI Features and Data

The Counsel and Divine Intelligence features are powered by Anthropic's Claude AI. When you interact with The Counsel, your messages and vault context (streak, Word of Year, recent journal entries if any) are sent to our Cloud Function proxy, which then calls Anthropic's API. This data is used only to generate your response and is not stored by us or used to train AI models.

Anthropic's privacy policy governs their handling of API data: anthropic.com/privacy

5. Payments

All payments are processed by Stripe. LiquidVault does not store or have access to your credit card information. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of payment data: stripe.com/privacy

6. Data Storage and Security

Your personal vault content is stored in your browser's localStorage on your device. We recommend using a modern browser and keeping your device secure. If you clear your browser data or use a different device, your vault content will not transfer unless you use the Export Vault feature first.

Your account email and hashed password are stored in localStorage on your device. We do not maintain a centralized user database with your vault content.

7. Your Rights

9. Children

LiquidVault is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy
